The First Exhibition For Young Inventors was held in Japan in 1904 and had a national character. In 2004, on the 100th anniversary of the Japanese Institute of Inventions and Innovations (JIII), the First International Exhibition for Young Inventors was held in Tokyo. It was a great success and since then this event is held annually in different countries of the world.
Over the years, young inventors visited: Malaysia, India, Indonesia, China, Nigeria, Vietnam and Thailand.
